Our Process
At Legacy Draft and Design, we understand that your home is your haven, a place that truly becomes a reflection of who you are. We understand that small details can make a big difference in the rest, comfort, and joy that you will find in your home. You have ideas and dreams for what the spaces could become, but gathering your vision into a cohesive floor plan can be a real challenge.
We are here to help! With decades of experience in creative home design, we find fulfillment in helping you meet your goals. It is about you and your aspirations, not about us.
How do we get started, you ask? We offer a free 1-hour initial consultation meeting. We are happy to meet you in person, virtually, or by phone. We listen as you describe your needs and desires for the project and ask pointed questions to create a complete picture. We will then compile a target outline of what your project scope may entail.
We will then present a proposal for the cost and timeline of the design work. With your approval and a 50% deposit, the project design can begin. Once underway, the speed with which we can progress will, in part, depend upon your ability to make decisions and observations. Clear communication is truly the key to the shared enjoyment of the process. If you need more time to ponder and visualize changes along the way, the process may take longer. Ultimately, we want you to be comfortable with and excited about the finished plans! Our goal is to have your 100% satisfaction at completion and for you to understand the how and why of finished details. It’s your dream and your investment. We are simply helping make it a reality.
